We provide 20 matted, oak walled stalls in 12'x12' and 10'x10' sizes. We have a 60'x200' indoor arena with a heated viewing room that includes a restroom. Indoor wash rack with hot and cold water. We are committed to detailed individual care of our horses and their needs. We strive to provide a clean, safe, friendly, yet professional facility for both the horse and their owner. Our number one priority is the health and well-being of the horses. Lockhart Legacy Stables welcomes all disciplines. We have jump standards, barrels, and cones available for the use of our boarders. Everyone has access to our indoor and outdoor arenas, as well as our round pen. Riding trails are available on our property and Walborn Reservoir is only a short drive from our facility. They offer extensive trails and play host to some fun equestrian events. For those who show, the Randolph Fairgrounds is a convenient 5 minutes away just South of Rt 224. Our barn has excellent relationships with many local veterinarians and ferriers who come to the facility on a regular basis, but all boarders are welcome to utilize the veterinarian or ferrier of their choice. We have 32 stalls (10 x 12 and 12 x 12 available) cleaned 6 days a week. They are well ventilated and matted for your horse’s comfort, and you are allowed to bring your own stall-guards to put up. We deliver our manure to a farm down the street so there’s no unpleasant smells or excess flies. Our barn is very clean and open with a indoor wash rack and tack room with tacking station. We also have a lounge with a refrigerator and a bathroom that are both heated in the winter. We have 5 large pastures with run-ins we rotate on and 2 small ones, as well 2 small paddocks and a sand paddock for individual turn-out. We will work with you to find an arrangement that works best for you and your horse. Our barn provides SafeChoice® grain fed twice daily and good quality mixed hay. We have no problem transitioning your horse or using any other feed you wish to provide. Lockhart Legacy provides four different levels of care for each owners’ individual needs. We offer full care, partial care, self care, and pasture board. Regardless of the level of care, the barn is responsible for all feeding, haying, and watering.
